Roger Federrer had justadvanced to the next round of the Sonny Ericsson Championship at Key Biscayne, Florida, Federrer won over the American by erasing the eight break points early in the game to took the win 6-4, 6-2 Tuesday night. Next opponent for Roger Federrer is the number five seed in the tournament Andy Roddick of America. Roddick advances earlier by beating the French Gail Monfils 7-6, 6-4.
The American's had a break point chanced against Federrer came with the score of 2 all in the second set. Then, Federrer hit a service winner to close out the 26 point game, and put him ahead until the end of the set. Dent's aggressiveness to the ball and his volley tactics made Federrer rushing his shots in the earlier stages of the game. After that Federrer took control of the game and win smoothly over Dent.
